when I was charged $100 for a wire transfer after confirming with the teller that the fee from our personal trust account would be $15, as listed on the bank's website. After numerous calls, I was told that the branch that processed the wire could not help me and that I had to deal with the branch that opened the account. I contacted our representative at the branch where we opened the account and explained the issue, but she did not understand why we would be given this information as she had no access to the wire information of another branch. After three to four more calls and visits to the branch, we were told that the fee was correct and that it was a business charge because a personal account under a trust is considered a business, and business wire transfers cost $100. We have numerous businesses and complete wire transfers through each one on a weekly basis and have never been charged more than $35. The customer service and responses were mediocre at best, as it was apparent that none of the employees really knew the answer to this issue.
