I was told my account with TD bank was closed and I will receive balance of my check I received a mail from post man but the check was not there it was an advert has anyone experienced this before and how many days before the check is supposed to get too me who’s familiar please help or tell me what to do

TD is greedy. Do they keep the promises they give to their customers? Rarely.

Something just doesnt seemright with my td checking account..:::.things take way to long to process and is always pending, the totals never make sense or add up...::how is it possible i deposited $180 on friday plus another $185 today and plus i had $300 already in there, added $120 last tuesday....i spent $148, $24, $19 and $17but i onlyhave an available balance of $175. I never had this issue with chase.....maybe it’s just me, but seems My acct always off by $100+ but it says something I pending for like 2 weeks ...... the only reason I question it is because this issue happened to my boyfriend a few years ago for over $300 Us he made deposits and they claimed they couldn’t find it even thou he had the receipt records ......so I check my account constantly just to make sure everything is updated but idk...::I need to sit down with a calculator and check this because it just don’t make sense.

Unfortunately since COVID the branches have been poorly staffed and partially closed. Rates are poor . It seems a lot of turnover of top shelf employees with trainees is what I see.

You’re only allowed to transfer $5,000 a month to another financial institution! How crazy is that! Chase allows $20,000 per DAY! You can’t expect to be a major player in the US with such restrictive policies. It’s 2024!

Right as I’m getting close to pay my full balance, TD bank double my statement in one week. This put my usual one month ahead payment into a late date from due date. They did this to charge me late payment fee so they can scam me out of money. Never had this problem with Bank of America. Stay away from TD BANK CREDITCARD, AND DEBUT CARD. IIM CLOSING ALL MY ACCOUNT WITH TD BANK AND MOVING WITH WESTER BANK!!!

This is the worst Bank that I've ever encountered. They will hold your money to draw interest for their own benefit! Don't bank with them under no circumstances. They don't explain anything to you when you open an account and they're very eager to take your money. I don't know who owns this bootleg bank but t I do know that they're crooks and should be investigated by the FBI. Whomever has an account with them I advise you to get your money out of this bank, close your account as soon as possible, and find a reputable financial corporation. I said it!

I wanted to open a new acct & deposit a larger check in Rock Hill, SC The amount exceeded FDIC, so I asked about daily cash withdrawal limits, bc I’d reduce the amount below FDIC, for my own security. The bank declined opening the acct. Keep in mind that I was only asking to withdraw my own money. So, I decided to change to opening a smaller acct…which they also declined simply bc of my previous request for information about daily cash withdrawal limits. Clearly, they want to keep YOUR money from you. Local Mgr was nice, but useless bc of his leadership. True story.

ATM had an issue, asked me to manually enter the dollar amount without giving me the option to return the deposited cash. Next business day, they put a "deposit correction" debit on my account. On top of that, they put another "deposit hold". These two debits caused my balance to go negative (I initially had a bit more than 100 bucks there). Called and they said they would initiate an investigation. I said in the meantime can you at least give me my initial balance of 100+ dollars? They said can't do. Next day, I was further charged 35 dollars for them overdrafting my account. I called again, they said they would reverse the overdraft fee and also informed me that my ATM dispute had gone in my favor and they would remove the hold and return the funds to me the next day. Not a pleasant experience, with their super-aggressive deposit hold strategy causing my balance to go negative for a while. Never in my life had I overdrafted. Also very nerve-racking waiting for the claim to be approved (cause if it is not, I would’ve had to escalate).

Every time I go to their any location they will never solve my problems. I was TD Bank Location 300 W 125th St New York, NY 10027 The banker one Latin lady I met there refused to answer my question, she ignored me and took another Latin lady in her table and I confronted her she flares up, and security flare up and manager in their shift that supposed to stop the disagreement join them to attack and the manager was pushing me out of the bank. This is the worst experience. Manager, other bankers and security are unprofessional and irresponsible. Because of this I closed my account and they refused me loan I requested. They aren’t nice. They nasty and ghetto. This is a ghetto Bank. Several times the banks are so mean to me. People should stop banking with them, please guys stay away from this ghetto Bank. Imagine the manager of the bank jumped on me to fight me ? The woman manager is a Ghetto
