I've had varo for a couple of years. And they were good then I had a transaction from Walmart that appeared on my card, when I never went there and disappeared with my money. I called three or four times and till this day never got my money back. So I would only use for the savings and the believe card to build credit. But please be careful. This is a online company so you can't talk face to face. I only use this card to build my credit and my savings. Cause it has no transactions and when I build my credit. It's literally just regular payments.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Varo Bank's service due to a crippling issue with their mobile check deposit feature. In November 2023, my account was needlessly suspended after a routine attempt to add my Varo debit card to Apple Wallet. Although I swiftly resolved the suspension with Varo support, the mobile check deposit remains disabled, rendering it useless with a $0 limit. Attempts to resolve the issue through Varo's online chat have been futile, with unhelpful responses and a complete lack of resolution. The inconvenience caused by Varo's failure to reinstate my mobile check deposit is unacceptable. I would caution anyone considering Varo Bank to be wary of their unreliable services and unresponsive customer support. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and has left me questioning the reliability of Varo Bank. One star is too generous for the inconvenience and lack of assistance I have encountered. Varo Bank needs to address and rectify these issues promptly to maintain any semblance of customer satisfaction.

Somebody stole my identity and was unable to open an account with larger institutions due to security reasons, but of course was able to open up one with Varo. There is NO way for me speak with anyone regarding this issue other than through email. It's been a full day and they have not responded to me. I also tried emailing their normal support email address and immediately got a response saying they only respond to email addresses on file. This has got to be illegal when it comes to fraud. I need to speak with someone ASAP and have no way at all until they decide to answer my email. Borderline illegal
