but they have been so good to me during my home buying process. We decided to go with Homestreet for our home loan after taking their first-time home buyer's class offered in conjunction with King County (my workplace). Our loan officer has been super helpful, responsive, patient, and knowledgeable during our loan process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience as a nervous first-time home buyer. I would recommend Homestreet to any first-time home buyer because they are local and available. We have been able to contact our loan officer and actually meet with him in person at the Seattle headquarters multiple times. We worked out an excellent loan agreement at a phenomenal rate and I couldn't be happier.
Aasness at Homestreet (I think he is in the Southcenter Branch) to help with securing a home loan. I have to say that I am not new to obtaining large loans, or buying real estate and Eric was by far the best professional I have worked with in this regard. I would wholeheartedly refer him to anyone looking to finance or refinance a real estate loan. As a result of my most recent acquisition, I am switching many of my business bank accounts to Homestreet (Ballard Branch). They seem to be much more up to date than a lot of other smallish banks such as Banner and Umpqua. I have had accounts at Bank of America, Viking (the best, but now closed), American West (the worst), Umpqua and Banner. Bank of America is the most user friendly, but a lot of us small business owners shy away from the huge corporate banks. Looking at Homestreets capabilities, they seem like a good fit.
were referred to Barry and Chris at Homestreet Bank, Lake Union. We are first-time home buyers and wanted to set up a meeting to learn how to get started. They were very quick to get us in for an appointment and even accommodated our work schedules and met with us after 6pm. We were there with Barry until after 9pm. He went over everything we will need to know, our different mortgage options, down payment options, long-term financial planning, etc. We walked in not even knowing where to start and we left there feeling comfortable with them and well educated. They went beyond our expectations. We will definitely be moving forward through the process with Barry and Chris and will recommend them to our friends!
